The job

The equipment serving this medical office lived in the attic, which is the least convenient place to work on a system and the most common place to find one in a building of this type. Everything came out and a complete new system went in: furnace, A-coil and condenser.

What we did

Removed the old equipment from the attic
Installed a new furnace, A-coil and condenser
Connected the electrical components
Test ran the system in both cooling and heating
Installed a condensate safety switch in the drain pan

Why testing both modes matters here

Cooling and heating were both run before we left. On a system replaced in one visit, that is the only way to confirm the second mode works while the crew and the equipment are still on site rather than months later when the season turns.
